Lecture by Prof. Pippin and Screening of Nicholas Ray's Film

On Thursday, February 23, at 4:30, Prof. Robert Pippin will read “Active and Passive Skepticism in Nicholas Ray’s In a Lonely Place” at the Literature and Philosophy Workshop of the University of Chicago. The lecture will take place in Stuart Hall, room 102, on campus.

Since at our own conference the paper will only be discussed, but not read out loud, you might want to attend the lecture and avoid having to read it in advance.

Additionally, if you want to see Ray's film on the big screen, please note that Doc Films, the University of Chicago affiliated cinema, is screening In a Lonely Place on Tuesday, February 21 at 7 pm
